Spring Equinox:
Horses & Dream Catchers
At Hela Wellness, we believe in the power of experiential learning to strengthen the human-animal bond. Our Animal-Assisted Healing workshops use this connection to foster emotional growth, inner peace, and self-discovery.
Meet The Animal Partners
At the heart of this experience is the opportunity to connect intimately with a variety of incredible animals—respected not as tools, but as sentient beings and soulful partners in your healing journey.
This farm is home to many animals, each with their own unique personality. Some love close interaction, while others prefer to watch quietly from a distance. All contribute to the healing energy of this space.
Sweetie – The embodiment of feminine energy in a horse, Sweetie is both sassy and nurturing. She approaches people with curiosity and isn’t shy about “advocating” for more petting—often nudging in just the right way to make her wishes known. Though she’s still finding her place in the herd, her warm and playful spirit is unmistakable. Michelle has formed a special bond with Sweetie (see the photo of the two, forehead to forehead).
Julie Andrews – As sweet as pie, Julia is often the first to greet visitors with her soft snout and gentle curiosity. Her presence is calm, friendly, and welcoming.
"The Girls" – Grandma, The Mama, and Baby – These three ladies have a mind of their own and a strong sense of togetherness. You’ll often find them cuddled up close. When dinner is served to the horses, they’re never far behind, always hoping for a special treat.
